As of the date of this post, there is no legislation in place (and no continuing education requirements) related to the regulation of the Interior Design profession in the state of Massachusetts. 

Statute law is subject to change and varies across jurisdictions. Always check and comply with current statute law in place in the jurisdiction(s) where you plan to practice Interior Design or use that professional title. 

Registered Massachusetts architects are required to complete 12 hours of Continuing Education every year. All 12 CE hours must qualify as Health, Safety & Welfare.

Licensed Maryland Interior Designers are required to complete 10 hours of Continuing Education every 2 years.

Licensed Maryland architects are required to complete 12 hours of Continuing Education every calendar year.

Licensed Utah interior designers are required to complete 20 hours of Continuing Education (CE) every 2 years.

Licensed Utah architects are required to complete 24 hours of Continuing Education every 2 years.

As of the date of this post, the Maine State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects, & Interior Designers has no mandatory continuing education requirement in place for Maine architects as a condition for license renewal.
